[Dave Birch] We've revamped our podcast series to bring together all of the weekly podcasts into a single stream which, now called the "Tomorrow's Transactions" podcast series. In the first of the new series, here is part one of a two part update with the Identity & Passport Service on the UK ID scheme, a discussion with Katie Davis, the Executive Director of Strategy since June 2007. Prior to IPS, Katie was the Director of the Government IT Profession at the Cabinet Office. In this role, she worked as part of the Delivery and Transformation Group (formerly e-Government Unit) to increase the capacity and capability of government to deliver large-scale IT-enabled change. In this podcast she talks about the new Safeguarding Identity Strategy.

Listen here in either [Podcast MPEG4] or [Sound-only MP3] format.
