Giles Sergant, Touch2ID

By Dave Birch posted Mar 22 2010 at 3:51 PM

[Dave Birch] Giles Sergant is the Managing Director of Touch2ID, which has recently launched a proof-of-identity service in the UK. The system combines contactless cards and fingerprint matching to avoid the need for a central database. In this podcast, Giles explains the system and talks about how it might develop. Note that after this recording had been made, Touch2ID won the "Dragon Factor's Got Talent" pitch contest for payment-related startups at Consult Hyperion's 13th annual Digital Money Forum in March 2010.

Listen here in either [Podcast MPEG4] or [Sound-only MP3] format.
