Carel Mackenbach is a co-founder of the Dutch identity provider digidentity.eu, which he discusses in this podcast. Christian Lundén is a Product Manager at Nordic Choice Hotels, in which position he was responsible for implementing the chain's NFC pilot scheme in Stockholm. This allows frequent visitors to download their hotel key to an HFC phone and use it to get into their rooms. A good example of combined logical and physical access, in this podcast Christian discusses the pilot and what the chain has learned from it, including the decision to redesign future hotels to make them NFC-ready!!

Professor Michael Birnhack is from the Faculty of Law at Tel Aviv University, currently visiting the Institute for Advanced Legal Studies in London. He is part of the EU PRACTIS research group that has been forecasting technologies that will have an impact on privacy (good and bad: PETs and threats, so to speak) and has been developing a theory of privacy, the subject of this podcast.

[Dave Birch] Giles Sergant is the Managing Director of Touch2ID, which has recently launched a proof-of-identity service in the UK. The system combines contactless cards and fingerprint matching to avoid the need for a central database. In this podcast, Giles explains the system and talks about how it might develop. Note that after this recording had been made, Touch2ID won the "Dragon Factor's Got Talent" pitch contest for payment-related startups at Consult Hyperion's 13th annual Digital Money Forum in March 2010.
