Ruth Wandhofer, Citi

[Dave Birch] Ruth Wandhofer is the EMEA Head of Payment Strategy & Market Policy for Citi Global Transaction Services and one of the world's leading experts on SEPA. She has just written the definitive book on the subject: "EU Payments Integration -- The Tale of SEPA, PSD and Other Milestones Along the Road".

Ruth holds a number of external positions, including the Chairmanship of the European banking industry's PSD Expert Group, membership of the Plenary of the European Payments Council (EPC) and membership of the EU Commission's Payment Systems Market Expert Group. Prior to joining Citi, she worked for the European Banking Federation (EBF), the European Commission DG Economic& Financial Affairs and in the banking industry in various roles.
