Jon Shamah, SSEDIC

Jon Shamah is Vice Chairman of EEMA, the European Electronic Messaging Association. A graduate of Aeronautics & Astronautics, he has held roles at Hitachi, McDonnell Information Systems, Thales, CoreStreet and now at NETS. He is a subject matter expert advising on the business exploitation of eID, Public Key Infrastructures and their usage, especially in critical national infrastructures and programs. He is experienced in the full lifecycle management of Identity programs. His technical expertise is in Identity Management and PKI Trust up to national and European levels. He concentrates on technology and business which addresses the compliance and liability needs of both public and private sector initiatives. He advises and represents EEMA on various EU workshops and projects. Jon is the winner of the 2009 EEMA AWard for Services to European Identity. He is also a convener at the International Telecommunications Union, Study Group 17 JCA for Identity Management and part of the Mirror Group of Trust in Digital Life. Jon is one of the founders and coordinators of the SSEDIC programme, the subject of this podcast.

Guillaume Lebleu, Clearbon

He is a co-founder of Clearbon, a company focused on empowering local businesses, financial institutions, and communities to use their transaction data in pragmatic programs that enhance their economic livelihood and liquidity. They are the people behind Bernal Bucks, issued in the Bernal Heights district of San Francisco and the subject of this podcast.

Heather Schlegel, SWIFT Innotribe

Heather Schlegel is a futurist, technologist, and cacophonist. She has helped build and launch over 50 Internet products in Silicon Valley and Los Angeles since 1996. Her research projects include alternate/virtual currencies and transactions (the subject of this podcast); the impact of technology on identity creation and positive wildcards.
